Project Overview
At Landmark Tower, Deep Contractors delivered scaffold, hoist, and remedial works to two occupied residential tower blocks: Mayflower House and Endeavour House.
The project focused on improving fire safety while maintaining safe access for residents and site teams throughout the works.
Scope of Works
Deep Contractors carried out the removal of the existing cladding system across both towers.
In addition, the team replaced fire barriers and insulation with new non-combustible materials.
Finally, the works included the full reinstatement of the cladding system, completed to current safety standards.
Access & Logistics
Given the height and occupancy of the buildings, the project required carefully planned scaffold and hoist solutions.
Therefore, Deep Contractors designed access systems that allowed safe working at height while minimising disruption to residents.
Moreover, the team coordinated deliveries, waste removal, and lifting operations to maintain clear and secure access routes at all times.
Health, Safety & Fire Compliance
Fire safety sat at the core of the project.
Accordingly, Deep Contractors delivered all remedial works in line with current fire safety regulations and best-practice guidance.
Meanwhile, the team maintained strict Health and Safety controls. Consequently, works progressed safely within a live residential environment.
Resident & Stakeholder Coordination
Because both towers remained occupied, communication played a critical role.
Therefore, Deep Contractors worked closely with the client and site management to coordinate works, manage interfaces, and reduce disruption.
Furthermore, the team maintained clear separation between construction areas and resident access routes throughout the project.
Project Outcome
Ultimately, Deep Contractors successfully completed the remedial fire safety works at Landmark Tower.
The project improved the fire performance of both Mayflower House and Endeavour House while reinstating the external façade.
As a result, the works enhanced building safety and extended the lifespan of the towers.
