The Flambard Way development in Godalming, Surrey, consists of 137 contemporary properties, including luxurious apartments designed to provide modern, stylish living.
Project Scope
The project involved comprehensive remedial works carried out while the properties remained occupied, ensuring minimal disruption to the residents. Deep Contractors were in charge of the supply, labour and mortar for traditional build brickwork to SFS.
To access and inspect the existing fire safety measures, sections of the building’s brickwork were carefully removed. This meticulous process ensured that the structural integrity of the building was maintained throughout the project.
Upon inspection, new fire barriers were installed. These barriers are critical in preventing the spread of fire between different parts of the building, thereby enhancing the overall safety of the residents. After the installation of new fire barriers, the brickwork was meticulously restored. The goal was to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the development while ensuring that the modifications were seamlessly integrated into the building’s structure.
